Are There Any European Martial Arts Training Schools in Staffordshire?
I stress the European, so please no answers involving Asian Martial Arts. I’m looking for somewhere which offers training in things like classical fencing and sword fighting. If you can find one, please can you find somewhere where I can get the necessary equipment?
hello,
no, not specifically. around your area you might find “sword fighting meetups”, but that is about it. most of these will have training in a weapon oriented system related to filipino systems (jeet kune do has a presence over there).
that said, you might have some good results from checking with theatrical fight choreography companies. most of the people who conduct this sort of training actually know the classical systems they emulate on stage or film. can’t think of any where you are, but any of the universities should know where to find them (check with fencing team at university).
