Sword makers?
One of my loved ones wanted his ashes poored in an iron mold and used to make 4 identical swords. Preferably Japanese style Samuri or Chinese Katanas. The issue is I can’t find a sword maker that forges his own iron, they all get iron bars and cut it into shape. Is there anyone in the world that can do this? There was money set aside in a trust to accomplish the deed, we just can’t find the sword smith. We are willing to travel to Asia, Europe, South Pacific to get it done. The swords must all be identical in wieght, length, width, design, and strength.
My long time friend Tony Swatton is who you want to call.
He is a well known sword maker and “Always” has special request.
Also he “Can” forge his own steel,he has the furnace,every type of anvil,and more than one drop hammer
Mixing ashes “into” steel can be tricky but I see what your loved one was wishing for.He wants four identical swords that “He is a part of”.
I would talk to Tony on something like this,he would be the one I would go to if I had the same request.
He and I have worked together on projects for the movies Hook,Three Muskteers,Zoro,Blade II,and others.
