How can I choose a quality samurai sword on line?
like buy a sword as a surprised gift. last time I post my question here but no good suggestion or bright point here. I need buy a samurai sword or katana . Heard about brand like Paul Chen,Samurai tradition, “Furubushidoo,” handmade sword, Hand Forged , too many information. can any expert give me an idea how can buy a good one , moderate price sword , but handmade or hand forged. Simply top notch quality is fine . help needed
High Quality battle Japanese Katana forged by hand in the tradition folded steel method, could cost up $2000.00 probably more! this is because 1) it is such a rare art. there are very few people who forge such weapons. 2) these swords take a long time to forge, they aren’t exactly mass produced. and 3) only the highest quality materials are used. the steel used is simply the best in the world. and I believe according to tradition, such a weapon is never to be fully unsheathed without the intent to draw blood. that may be a different region I’m thinking of, though. but they are amazingly beautiful weapons if you’ve got the money.
